Safety in the Workplace is a shared responsibility. It is important to treat colleagues with respect and to know your rights and responsibilities according to the legislation. Many, many organistions have policies that govern this behaviour, but what if you don’t know what to do about it?

Organisations, teams and people who want to ensure that a culture of respect in the workplace is understood by all. That keeping the workplace ‘safe’ is the responsibility of employers and employees.
What you’ll learn
- Shared responsibility for wellbeing in the workplace community
- The relevant Legislation
- How to identify obvious and less obvious signs of bullying or unacceptable workplace practice
- You’ll understand your workplace grievance procedure and know how to apply this if required to do so
- You’ll understand the ways in which bullying can be minimised and why it may be part of a workplace system or culture
While the duration for this course can be negotiated to suit your team, the course normally runs for a half-day (three hours).
